Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2020 with regard to re-classification of land in S.No.31/7, Patta No.336, Manavur Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Thiruvellore District as Ryotwari Punja instead of Ryotwari Natham.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2020 with regard to re-classification of land in S.No.31/7, Patta No.336, Manavur Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Thiruvellore District as Ryotwari Punja instead of Ryotwari Natham.

2.Ms.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 21.05.2021 at 03.00 p.m at the office of the Tahsildar, the third respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the third respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections of the State Legislative Assembly - 2021) from 21.05.2021.
