ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 27.02.2014 made in W.P.No.5826 of 2014, directed the second respondent therein to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 02.09.2013 in the light of the Division Bench order passed in WA.Nos.815, 1531, 1691 to 1693 and 1165 of 2010 dated 07.07.2011 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Since the said order has not been complied with, within the stipulated time as directed by this Court, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter came up for consideration, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representations of the petitioners were considered and the same were rejected by the proceedings bearing No.Na.Ka.534/A1/2014 dated 22.01.2016 of the Assistant Elementary Educational Officer, West Arani. She has also produced a copy of the said proceedings dated 22.01.2016.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioners are aggrieved over the order passed by the

authority concerned, they are at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law, if they are so advised.
