Prayer in WP.No.5065 of 2020: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 26.09.2019 with regard to refund of excess tax paid Rs.1 72 488/- relating to the assessment year 2009-10 as per Form P (Notice of assessment and refund order) dated 12.07.2018 along with Interest in terms of Section 42 (5) of the TNVAT Act 2006 at expeditiously as possible.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Rajasekar For Respondent : Ms.Dhanamadhri Government Advocate COMMON ORDER The petitioner prays for a Mandamus to consider and pass orders on a representation dated 26.09.2019, in regard to the refund of excess tax remitted relating to the period 200910 and 2010-11, in terms of Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006.

2. Mr.S.Rajasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confirms that pending writ petition and consequent upon the direction to the respondent to dispose the representation, the request for refund has been accepted and the refund received. The mandamus sought for is thus achieved.

3. Recording the aforesaid, both the writ petitions are closed. No costs.
