PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the Assistant Director of Agriculture (City Coconut) Chennai the fifth respondent herein made in No.Aa/1506/2003 dated 05.07.2004 and 17.03.2005 as directed by the Additional Director of Agriculture, Chennai, in his proceedings made in D.O. Letter No. Pa.O.Na. 11(2)/18020/04 dated 07.03.2005 and all the consequential orders passed by the Commissioner of Agriculture, Chennai, the second respondent herein made in Letter No. Poo.Ma.Mu.2/11523/2010 dated 07.04.2010 and the Government

Letter No.949/Ve.Nee.1/10-3 dated 07.09.2010 issued by the Agricultural Production Commissioner and Secretary to the Government, Chennai, the first respondent herein and the subsequent order of the Commissioner of Agriculture, Chennai, the second respondent herein made in Se.Mu.Aa.No.Pa.O.Na.2(2)/ 54251/2010 dated 16.11.2010, quash the same and restore the order of the fifth respondent made in No.Aa.1506/2003 dated 15.02.2005, insofar as 'warning' is concerned besides directing the respondents herein to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture for the year 2007-2008 on par with his immediate junior with continuity of service and all attendant benefits in the promoted post including seniority in its appropriate place with all other consequential and monetary benefits accrued thereon and disburse the arrears within a short date.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 28.02.2022 before this Court, stating that he is not pressing the writ petition.
