PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the proceedings of the G.O.Ms.(D) No.16, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, dated 12.01.2010 and the consequential order in Letter No.12265/CE 2/2010.2 dated 10.08.2010 passed by the respondent, quash the same and consequently the respondent will have to be directed to treat the period of suspension from 22.10.1998 to 28.04.1999 as one spent on duty.

Today, when the matter was called, Mr.Saravanan, learned counsel representing Mr.V.Vijay Shankar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they have no instructions from the petitioner and that they are not pressing the writ petition.
