This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first respondent to sponsor the petitioner's name for the post of Conductor in the second respondent Transport Corporation.

However, the petitioner is now aged about 44 years and he crossed the age of qualification. Therefore. the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
