JUDGMENT
The appeal has been filed against the judgment and decree dated 8.1.2016 made in MCOP No.182 of 2014 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (Sub Court), Ranipet.
2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel appearing for the appellants submit that the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, where a settlement has been arrived at.
3. A perusal of the Mediation Report reveals that the matter has been settled and that the claimants have received a sum of Rs.3.20 Lakhs by way of two demand drafts.
4. In view of the above, recording the settlement arrived at, this civil miscellaneous appeal is closed in terms of the settlement. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
