ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition Na.ka.No.A3/2582/2022 filed by the petitioner and forbears the fourth respondent from implementing the impugned order dated 18.02.2022 made in P.M.No.A4/2482/2021 of the third respondent.

2. Mr.V.Veluchamy, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. Since, no adverse order is being passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased a property comprised in Old Survey No.300/1A1A, New Survey No.300/1A12, measuring an extent of 1.09 acres (0.44.0 Hectares), situated at Alathur Village, Kallakurichi Taluk and District. The petitioner acquired the above said property by a Sale Deed dated 24.06.2020, registered as Doc.No.1940 of 2020 on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar, Kallakurichi, and obtained Patta from Revenue Officials, for cancellation of the above said Patta the fifth respondent made an application before the third respondent on 05.07.2021 and the said application was allowed in her favour, against which the petitioner made a revision petition before the second respondent. However, till date revision petition has not been disposed by the second respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for the above relief.

5. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court may issue direction to the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the revision petition filed by the petitioner will be considered by the second respondent, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

7. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity

to the aggrieved persons, for ready reference the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the revision petition along with the order copy to enable the second respondent to pass appropriate orders.

8. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
