O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits in the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner in Na.Ka.Aa3/338/2019 dated 02.01.2017 and to dispose the same with a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is passed against the private respondent, notice to the private respondent/R4 is dispensed with.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that thought the first respondent had issued summons to the petitioner, fourth respondent and three others, he has not disposed the petitioner's revision dated

02.01.2017 so far. Hence the petitioner is constrained to file the present writ petition.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents is not in a position to say as to whether the petitioner's revision has been disposed of or not.

6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to issue fresh notice to all the parties and hear petitioner's revision dated 02.01.2017 and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law, if already not disposed of. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
