Prayer in all the three WPs: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioners' representations dated 17.07.2015 and to grant adequate police protection to the petitioners to put up constructions in their properties situated in Plot No.12 (W.P.No.28634/2015), Plot Nos.8 to 11(W.P.No.28635/2015) and Plot Nos.5 to 7 (W.P.No.28636/2015) in Survey No.62/6B of Narasinghapuram Village, Wallajha Taluk, Vellore District, in the light of the earlier direction passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.1731 to 1733 of 2011 dated 27.01.2011.

The prayer made in these writ petitions is to issue a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioners' representations dated 17.07.2015 and to grant adequate police protection to the petitioners to put up constructions in their properties situated in Plot No.12 (W.P.No.28634/2015), Plot Nos.8 to 11 (W.P.No.28635/2015) and Plot Nos.5 to 7 (W.P.No.28636/2015) in Survey No.62/6B of Narasinghapuram Village, Wallajha Taluk, Vellore District, in the light of the earlier direction passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.1731 to 1733 of 2011 dated 27.01.2011.

2. Today, when these writ petitions are taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, these writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
