Since some anti-social elements are causing hindrances to conduct survey of the lands in S.Nos.54/2, 267/1 and 267/2 for a total extent of 8.79 acres in Vadukapallayam Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District, the petitioner made a representation dated 23.03.2017 to the respondent. Now this Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to provide adequate police protection for conducting survey of the lands in question, by considering the said representation. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a direction may be issued to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the said representation made by the petitioner, within a specified time frame.

3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2017 and take appropriate action, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
