ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1 st and 2 nd respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 26.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the property and to demarcate and subdivide the cart track comprised in Survey Nos.58/1B2 and 82/1A at Acalvaadi Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District. 2.Heard Mr.J.Pradeep, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent 1 and 2 and Mr.V.J.Priyadarsana, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 3 rd respondent.

3/6 3.The petitioner had earlier submitted an application dated 19.12.2024 seeking for transfer of patta in her name. However, the petitioner found that such transfer of patta may not be feasible since the subject property is a cart track. Therefore, the petitioner made a fresh representation dated 26.12.2024 to the 1 st respondent seeking for a survey and for demarcation and subdividing the cart track comprised in Survey Nos.58/1B2 and 82/1A at Acalvaadi Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 26.12.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. For the purpose of conducting the survey, the petitioner is directed to pay the necessary charges stipulated.
