O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue Non-Traceable Certificate in Crime No.976 of 2021 on the file of the respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner 1/4

had lost his original Power of Attorney document No.314 of 1994 dated 31.08.1994, Original Sale Deed Doc.No.137 of 1996 dated 22.11.1996 on the registered at Sub Registrar Office, Tiruppur. Hence, he preferred a online complaint on 17.11.2022 before the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks thereafter.
