Heard both. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition alleging that one car dealer at Singanallur had sold a 2012 model car to the petitioner falsely representing as if it is a 2013 model car. In this regard, the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent and the first respondent, by letter dated 26.9.2014, forwarded the same to the second respondent. The second respondent, in turn, called upon the petitioner to appear on 11.3.2016. The petitioner further states that he appeared and also gave a statement before the second respondent on 11.3.2016.

3. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to submit a report to the first respondent as to the exact state of affairs so as to enable the first respondent to take further action in accordance with law. period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
