O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH, J.) Learned Standing counsel appearing for the writ petitioners/Postal Services Department, submitted that, in connection with the alleged dereliction of duty, the first respondent/workman was kept under suspension for more than a year and the period of suspension has been extended from time to time but enquiry had not been concluded rather suspension order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
has been extended for a further period without reviewing the order of suspension.
2. The Tribunal, after having heard the first respondent/workman, passed an order dated 23.09.2015, thereby ordered for reinstatement of the first respondent/workman into service with immediate effect and directed the petitioners herein/Postal Services Department, to regularise the period of suspension beyond the period of initial 90 days, however, with a direction to the first respondent/workman to extend cooperation for an expeditious conclusion of the departmental enquiry within a period of three months.
3. In the circumstances, we do not find any reason to interfere with the reasoned order passed by the Tribunal. Accordingly, we dismiss this Writ Petition. Further more, time has also been given to the Writ Petitioners/Postal Department, to conclude the enquiry within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
