.. Respondent PRAYER: This writ petition has been filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue an order of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 01.10.2014 and pass further orders.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a limited prayer to dispose of his representation dated 01.10.2014, as he has been placed under suspension from 09.12.2013, subsequent to the registration of a complaint lodged by the brother of Harish on 21.10.2013, before the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Kancheepuram for the allegation that the petitioner has demanded a sum of Rs.3500/- to issue patta. Since, the persons who were similarly placed under suspension as the petitioner, has been reinstated in service, the petitioner submitted a representation on 01.10.2014 to the respondent. But no orders have been passed on the representation. Therefore, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is before this Court.

2. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition by the petitioner, to dispose of his representation, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent herein to consider his representation on merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
