PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in proceedings Na.Ka.No.32911/2011 N4 dated 12.8.2012 relating to cancellation of patta No.992 in Survey No.34/3B to an extent of 0190 Ares situated in Sriperumbudur Village and Taluk, Kancheepuram District, quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and direct the respondents to forbear them from in any way interfering ith the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the abovesaid property.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and therefore, the writ petition may be permitted to be withdrawn. He has also made an endorsement in the bundle today to that effect.
