Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India Praying to issue a Writ of mandamus, directing the respondent 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 11.10.2017 preferred by the petitioner for an allotment of any one of the vacant rental flats of the 2nd respondent situated at 96 kilpauk Garden, Chennai 10 or in any other area in the city of chennai and till then not to evict the petitioner from the present place i.e. Flat No.10-B New Tower Block Nandanam Chennai.

JUDGMENT

(Delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This writ appeal is directed against the order order dated 29.11.2018 made in W.P.No.28470 of 2017.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3 submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in this appeal.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the appellant to give a representation to the authority, which if given, is expected to be considered. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
