ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to release the 1st petitioner's Mahendra 575 D1 Tractor agriculture bearing Registration No.TN 32 AW 1901 and 2nd petitioner's LMV Trailer bearing Registration No.TN 32 K 3097 which is now under the custody of the respondents.

2.From the typed set of papers, it is seen that a copy of representation dated 29.02.2016 has been enclosed. However, it is an unsigned copy and there is no proof to show that the petitioner has submitted a representation. Therefore, at this juncture, the relief sought for cannot be granted. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a representation to the 1st respondent along with the copy of this order and if https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same is submitted, the 1st respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. In the event, already confiscation proceedings have been initiated or concluded, the same shall be intimated to the petitioners.
