ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2021 wherein the petitioner has sought for permission to issue licence to operate a lift from 4th floor to 7th floor in No.701, Manju Block, Chitra Avenue, No.9, Choolaimedu High Road, Chennai-600 094. 2.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would fairly submit that the constructions of the 4th floor to 7th floor in the building-in-question have been put up without proper planning https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

permission from the authorities concerned.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the matter, more particularly the fact that when the 4th floor to 7th floor in the multi-storyed building have been put up without obtaining any planning permission from the authorities concerned, we are of the view that the request of the petitioner is untenable. 4.

In the result, the Writ Petition fails and the same is accordingly dismissed. No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
