Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 18.03.2015, 24.1.15, 23.3.15, 18.3.15, 28.2.15, 26.2.15, 3.3.15, 4.3.15, 16.3.15 respectively and increase and enhance the age of the petitioner retirement from 60 years to 65 years as per the directions issued by the Government of India and allow to continue the petitioner services till she attain the age of 65 years, with all consequential benefits award costs. For Petitioners : Mr.V.Ajoy Khose For Respondents : Mr.V.Subbiah Special Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R By consent these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal. 2.Petitioners claim to be anganwadi workers submitted representation dated 18.03.2015, 24.01.2015, 23.03.2015, 18.03.2015, 28.02.2015, 26.02.
2015, 03.03.2015, 04.03.2015 and 16.03.2015 respectively, to the respondents stating that they are employed in that capacity from 01.06.1993, 01.07.1982, 01.07.1982, 01.07.1982, 21.08.1982, 02.06.1984, 01.07.1982, 01.07.1982 and 01.07.1982 respectively, and the Central Government has increased the age of the anganwadi workers to 65 and except the State of Tamil Nadu, all other states have increased the age and hence prayed for increasing the age of retirement from 60 years to 65 years. Since the petitioners have not been favoured with any response, they came forward to file these writ petitions.
3.Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Ajoy Khose, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts for the respondents. 4.This Court without going into the merits of the representations, directs the first respondent to dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners. 5.These writ petitions are disposed of accordingly.
