ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.41061 of 2016, by order dated 23.11.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2016 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order passed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent and by considering the representation of the petitioner, the respondent has passed an order dated 12.01.2018 rejecting the claim made by the petitioner.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if she so desires.
