ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard on admission.

2. The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to conduct proper survey and remove the encroachment from the

common pathway in Survey No.872/2 admeasuring to an extent of 0.211⁄4 cents as per UDR Survey No.210/2 situated at Kaippanikuppam, Marakkanam Taluk, Villupuram District, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submitted that the eviction notice was issued in the year 2023, against which an appeal was filed before the District Collector and the same was also dismissed on 13.12.2024. He would submit that, on 25.1.2025, eviction drive was conducted and now the structures were removed.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
