Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to implement the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and the Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Schemes and Rules, 2015 in proper perspective and also to issue vending certificate to the Street Vendors contemplated under Section 4 of the Act, 2014.
