ORDER

The Petitioner/wife has filed this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition seeking to withdraw the F.C.O.P.No.22 of 2025 pending on the file of the Family Court, Vellore and transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

2. The respondent-husband had filed F.C.O.P.No.22 of 2025 on the file of the Family Court, Vellore for divorce.

3. The petitioner-wife seeks transfer on the following grounds: (i) She is a resident of Chennai and the respondent is also employed in Deloitte an I.T Company in Chennai. (ii) The matter is posted before the Family Court at Vellore where the petitioner has to be present for every hearing.

(iii) Travelling to vellore for every hearing is a financial strain on the petitioner as she will not be able to travel alone and would have to be accompanied by some one. When she has not been given any maintenance by the husband, it is a major strain on her finances.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and looking into the grievances expressed by the petitioner, the Transfer 2/4

Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and F.C.O.P.No.22 of 2025 pending on the file of the Family Court, Vellore shall stand withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.
