(delivered by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) This Contempt Petition is filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 14 August 2015 rendered by this Court in W.P. No.25216 of 2015.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ The aforestated writ petition was disposed of treating the impugned order therein issued under Section 6 of

the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (for short "the Act") as show cause notice under the provisions of Section 7 of the Act and the opportunity to the petitioner to put forth his case by way of representation/explanation, was granted. On such representation being made by the petitioner, the authorities were directed to examine the matter, adverting to each and every averment made by the petitioner in his representation/explanation and then take consequential action, if need be.

Accordingly, after considering the petitioner's representation/explanation, the authorities have passed notice under Section 6 of the Act. As such, the petitioner has not made out a case for contempt of court.
