Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2014 by crediting her family pension in her (Petitioner's) account No. PPO No. 512165 within stipulated period.

O R D E R

The husband of the petitioner, by name, P.Radhakrishnan, was employed as Accountant in TUCS, Royapettah, Chennai. He died on 21.7.2006 leaving behind the petitioner and two children. The petitioner received pension from the respondent by order dated 21.7.2006. The pension was credited up to January 2013. Subsequently, amount has not been credited resulting in submitting a representation on 21.11.2014. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondent resulting in filing this writ petition.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on merits and as per law and taking into account the amount sanctioned to her towards pension. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 21.11.2014 along with a copy of this order so as to enable the second respondent to decide the matter as expeditiously as possible.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
