Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the detenue Krithiga, aged 30 years, W/o.Marudhamuthu before this Court and set her liberty.

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) This petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to produce the detenue Krithiga before this Court and set her liberty.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for first and second respondents and learned counsel for third respondent.

3. Petitioner is brother-in-law of the detenue, i.e., husband's brother. Detenue has been produced before this Court by second respondent. She informs that she had on her own volition left the matrimonial home and has taken up residence in a Ladies Hostel and of being independently employed. She has stated that she does not desire to return to matrimonial home.

4. Recording the said position, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
