This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 10.03.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On the complaint dated 10.03.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.408 of 2016. On reading of the complaint, it essentially appears to be civil dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party and that the opposite party has borrowed money from the petitioner and has not returned the money. In order to give criminal colour to the allegation, the petitioner has stated that the opposite party had threatened him, when he demanded money.

4. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued as prayed for and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law.
