[This case has been heard through Video Conference] The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with a case registered in Crime No. 1565 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Section 8(c), 20(b) (ii), (C) of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner through video conference sought permission of this court to withdraw the petition.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
