PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent in Letter No.61495(Ms.)/PGC/2013 dated 04.02.2014 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to pass orders for continuance of the revision of pension from 01.01.1996 based on the petitioner's pension fixed at Rs.1973/- as per G.O.Ms.No.363 dated 1/4

23.08.2013 with consequential revision and to pay the arrears of the difference amount within a time stipulated.

Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had expired and they are not in a position to trace the legal heirs of the petitioner.

2. Since no application for substitution has been filed, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. In case the legal heirs of the petitioner intend to revive the writ petition, they are at liberty to file an application seeking for review of the present order. No costs.
