ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner seeks bail for the offences punishable under Sections 294[b], 341, 394, 397 and 506[ii] of IPC.

2. According to the prosecution, the petitioner waylaid the de facto complainant and robbed Rs.1,500/- from him at knife point, resulting in the registration of the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner has been in custody since 12.09.2017.

4. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] would submit that the case property has been recovered and no previous case is pending against the petitioner.

5. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has been in custody since 12.09.2017 and taking note of the fact that the case property has been recovered and there is no previous case against the petitioner, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions:-.

i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai;

ii) The petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
