ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.M.Vijayakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.S.Kamalesh Kannan, learned Government Advocate for respondent No.1 and Mr.C.Ravichandran, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 4.

2. The case of the petitioner is that on 21.12.2018, locking and sealing notice was issued to him in relation to the construction at No.59, Vepery High Road, Vepery, Chennai-7. Thereafter, locking and sealing and demolition notice dated 23.01.2019 was served on the petitioner. Against the notice dated 23.01.2019, the petitioner has preferred a Revision on 07.02.2019 under Section 80-A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Revision preferred by him is pending from 07.02.2019 and till today, no orders are passed thereon, hence, it is prayed that directions be issued to dispose of the same expeditiously.

4. Looking into the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in relation to the Revision filed by him which is pending from 07.02.2019, we direct the concerned authority to dispose of the Revision filed by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all concerned.

5. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
