Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence of imprisonment imposed in C.C.No.27 of 2012 passed by the file of XIV Additional Judge for CBI cases, Chennai-600 104 by his Judgement dated 21.08.2017 pending diposal of Criminal Appeal No.576 of 2017 on the file of this Honble Court and thus.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.KRISHNAKUMAR, learned for the petitioner and MR.K.SRINIVASAN, special Public Prosecutor Advocate for the petitioner and of (Public Prosecutor) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- Seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the learned XIV Additional Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai-600 104 in C.C.No.27 of 2012 dated 21.08.2017 and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the criminal appeal, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

2. Heard Mr.V.Krishnakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Srinivasan, learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases for the respondent.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended and the petitioner is released on bail on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned XIV Additional Judge for CBI cases, Chennai-600 104. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on the

first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
