The present revision petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking expeditious disposal of the LAOP proceedings pending before the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu in LAOP.No.102 of 2023.

2. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. Learned counsel for the revision petitioner submits that the petitioner is one of the claimants in LAOP proceedings and despite the fact that the acquisition is of the year 2019, till date the proceedings have not been concluded and even counter has not been filed by the respondents. The petitioner, therefore seeks expeditious disposal of LAOP.No.102 of 2023.

4. Considering that the LAOP is of the year 2023, this Court directs the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu to expedite the hearing/ enquiry in LAOP.No.102 of 2023 pending on its file and shall ensure that pleadings are completed within a period of four weeks from the date of Page No.2 of 4

receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter try the LAOP on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same on or before 31.01.2026.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
