This petition has been filed by the petitioner to declare the petitioner's (A25) acquittal in S.C.No.5 of 2014 dated 23.01.2016 passed by the learned Principal Assistant Sessions Judge of Puducherry as honorary acquittal.
2.On a perusal of the paragraphs 17 to 20 of the Judgement of acquittal, passed by the learned Principal Assistant Sessions Judge of Puducherry in S.C.No.5 of 2014, it is seen that the trial court had come to the conclusion that the prosecution has not proved the offence as against the petitioner herein. In view of the same, it can only be deemed that the Judgement of acquittal dated 21.03.2016 in S.C.No.5 of 2014, on the file of the learned Principal Assistant Sessions Judge of Puducherry is honorary acquittal.

3. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
