When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
that the respondent had considered the petitioner's representation and rejected his request for correcting the date of birth. He has also produced a copy of the order dated 19.02.2018, passed by the respondent and the said order copy has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. In view of the same, I do not find any reason to keep the contempt petition pending. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the respondent, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.
