Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to remove the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against the petitioner's passport with No.G6689171 based on the representation dated 26.10.2012 given by the petitioner to the respondents.

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against the petitioner's passport with No.G6689171, based on the representation dated 26.10.2012 given by him to the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would state that a criminal case in Crime No.1287 of 2011 was registered against the petitioner based on the complaint lodged by his wife. Subsequently, passport of the petitioner was seized by the respondents Police, however, as per order of the learned Sessions Judge, dated 31.08.2012 in Crl.R.P.No.45 of 2012, it was released in favour of the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate would further add that the petitioner was released on bail and the Look Out Circular issued earlier got expired and thereafter, no fresh Look Out Circular (LOC) was issued against the petitioner.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is dismissed as nothing survives for further consideration. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
