1.K.Sasikala 2.Minor Govardhini 3.Minor Jagadeesh ... Respondents [ respondents 2 and 3 are represented by 1st respondent namely mother/natural guardian] Prayer:- Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to set aside the order dated 09.09.2021 in I.A.No.53 of 2016 in H.M.O.P.No.98 of 2015 on the file of the Sub Court, Harur.

O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been preferred challenging the order dated 09.09.2021 made in I.A.No.53 of 2016 in H.M.O.P.No.98 of 2015 passed by the learned Sub Judge, Sub Court, Harur.

2. The revision petitioner, who is the husband, had filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.98 of 2015 for dissolution of marriage. During the pendency of the petition, the first respondent/wife filed a petition in I.A.No.53 of 2016 for claiming maintenance for their two minor children and the learned Sub Judge, Harur fixed interim maintenance at Rs.2,000/- per month for each of the minor children (2nd and 3rd respondent herein). Aggrieved over that, the revision petitioner has filed this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the revision petitioner is only a retired military personnel and drawing pension of Rs.19,666/- per month and that his wife/first respondent is also working in Transport Corporation as a Junior Assistant and hence, the maintenance amount fixed by this Court is bit high.

4. It seems that the learned Sub Judge has taken into consideration Page No.2/4

the employment of the first respondent and fixed interim maintenance at a very nominal sum of Rs.2,000/- for each of the children. Considering the existing cost of living and other expenses that have to be met for growing the children, the above sum seems to be very reasonable. Hence, I feel it does not require any interference.

5. Therefore, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed and the order dated 09.09.2021 made in I.A.No.53 of 2016 in H.M.O.P.No.98 of 2015 passed by the learned Sub Judge, Sub Court, Harur is hereby confirmed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
