ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to Crime No.1564 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, E-4, Abiramapuram Police Station, Mylapore, Chennai and quash the same.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of Crime No.1564 of 2016, a case has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
been registered and after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned XXIII, Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.808 of 2017.
3. Since charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.1564 of 2016, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
