ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to issue computerised patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully
described in the prayer to this writ petition.
2. According to the petitioner, till date, the computerised patta has not been issued in favour of the petitioner despite the petitioner possessing a manual patta. In such circumstances, the petitioner had submitted a representation on 07.10.2025 to the respondents. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.
3. Mr. S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025, seeking for issuance of computerised patta in
favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner.
