ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner the joined Revenue Department as Assistant in the year 2010 subsequently, he was promoted as Deputy Tahsildar in the year 2015. While the petitioner was serving as Revenue Inspector at Mallasamudhram Firka, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District in the year 2012, the State was affected by severe drought on account of failure of monsoon. In view of the drought, the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.4, Revenue Department dated 05.01.2013, forming High Level Committee for assessment of drought condition and for suggesting remedial measures. The Committee visited several districts and indicated 31 districts except Chennai, as drought affected.

While so, the Government found certain irregularities in the implementation of the scheme and therefore, the impugned charge memo was issued by the 2nd respondent in T.D.P.Case No.3 of 2015 dated 21.08.2015 against the petitioner. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed W.P.No.9779 of 2022 before this Court. This Court, by its order dated 05.02.2025, allowed the said Writ Petition on the ground of delay in issuance of charge memo. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representations dated 28.05.2025 & 18.12.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representations and pass appropriate orders within a specified time.

5. In view of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
