ORDER
This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to withdraw H.M.O.P. No. 86 of 2025, pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Gudiyatham, and transfer the same to the file of the Principal Sub-Court, Arakkonam.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is residing in Ranipet District along with her two minor children. It is difficult for her to travel a distance of about 210 kilometres to attend the court proceedings. Therefore, he prayed that this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition be allowed. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent has no objection to allowing this petition.
3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both parties, this Court finds the reasons stated to be justifiable and is inclined to allow the transfer.
4. Accordingly, H.M.O.P. No. 86 of 2025, pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Gudiyatham, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Principal Sub-Court, Arakkonam. Since the respondent is employed in the Police Department and has not paid any maintenance to the petitioner, he is directed to pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) per month towards interim maintenance until the same is modified or varied by the
competent Court. The learned transferee Court is directed to issue notice to the respondent and thereafter proceed with the matter in accordance with law. The Principal Subordinate Court, Gudiyatham, is directed to transmit the entire case records to the Principal Sub-Court, Arakkonam, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 22-06-2026 Pbl Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes To
