ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking bail, in connection with Cr.No. 118 of 2019, on the file of the Respondent Police.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in respect of the case registered against him in Crime No.118 of 2019 under Section 307 IPC. 1/4

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would oppose the grant of bail on the ground that there are seven other cases pending against the petitioner. He would also submit that the victim has been discharged from the hospital and the investigation has been completed. However, he would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender and there are more than seven cases pending as against him as on date. I do not think, it will be safe to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the prevailing situation. Hence, the petition is dismissed for the present with liberty to renew after restrictions on movement of people are lifted.
