3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, incorporating the crime number.
