Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, particularly, the fifth Respondent to forthwith stop and prevent the inflow of chemical-mixed drainage from the Ambur Municipal dump yard into the petitioners' agricultural lands situated in Survey Nos.2/182, 6/2 and 6/4 at Ambur, Thirupathur District on the basis of the petitioners' representation dated 09.06.2025. ORDER
W.M.P.No.15480 of 2026 filed seeking permission to the petitioners to jointly file a single writ petition is ordered subject to payment of separate Court fee.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the fifth respondent to forthwith stop and prevent the inflow of chemical-mixed drainage from the Ambur Municipal dump yard into the petitioners' agricultural lands more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025.
3. According to the petitioner, due to the inflow of chemical-mixed drainage from the Ambur Municipal dump yard into the petitioners' agricultural lands more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, the petitioners'
agricultural lands are affected. The petitioner had given a representation on 09.06.2025 to the fifth respondent requesting them to prevent the inflow of chemical-mixed drainage from the Ambur Municipal dump yard into the petitioners' agricultural lands more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
4. Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 3 and 4. Dr.T.Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the fifth respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025 seeking to prevent the inflow of
