This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent/Police to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.04.2013, and to investigate the matter. 2.

Heard both sides.

It is averred in the Petition that, on 21.04.2013, at about 7.45 a.m., due to property dispute, one Thandapani and his wife, Chitra Lakshmi had trespassed into the petitioner's house, stolen away household articles and amount and also caused damage to his properties. Further, it is averred that the aforesaid two persons with aid of hooligans, who were under the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

guise of Advocates, forcibly took the petitioner to a Police Station, and at the behest of some police officials, obtained his signature in stamp papers. Though the petitioner has lodged a complaint regarding the said incident, no action has been taken so far, hence, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way of filing this Criminal Original Petition. 4.

It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the petitioner is not cooperating with the respondent/Police for enquiry.

Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent/Police to peruse the petitioner's complaint, and if any cognizable offence is made out, further directed to register a case and proceed further as per law. The petitioner shall also cooperate with the respondent/Police for enquiry.
