O R D E R

(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The petitioners really seek action against the construction said to be in progress by the fourth respondent in respect of land https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

classified as 'gramanatham' located in Survey No.196/2, Ramanur Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.

2. The land is meant for the collective purpose of the villagers. In the petition, no photographs have been enclosed to show the present stage of the construction. The information sought under the Right to Information Act, also confirms that the land is 'gramanatham'. The petitioners claim to have made a representation to the Chief Minister's Cell.

3. In our view, the petition has been filed with inadequate supporting material. The revenue authorities concerned have not been approached. The petitioners should first approach the revenue authorities, including the District Collector and the Tahsildar of the area and we are sure that if the petitioners make a representation, the same will be examined by visiting the site.

4. This writ petition is closed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
