Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Declaration, declare that the petitioners are entitled to be appointed as teachers (Secondary Grade/B.T.Assistants as the case may be) on the basis of TET marks and TET passed year seniority, with appropriate
age relaxation, having completed certificate verification before 20.07.2018, i.e., the date of passing of G.O.Ms.No.149, School Education (TRB) Department dated 20.07.2018, without restoring to any competitive examination as stated in G.O.Ms.No.149 dated 20.07.2018, as a measure of equity and fairness, as well as on the foundation of the doctrine promissory estoppel and legitimate expectation.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging G.O.Ms.No.149, School Education (TRB) Department dated 20.07.2018 issued by the third respondent and to quash the same and declared that the petitioners are entitled to be appointed as teachers (Secondary Grade/B.T.Assistants as the case may be) on the basis of TET marks and TET passed year seniority, with appropriate age relaxation, having completed certificate verification before 20.07.2018, i.e., the date of passing of G.O.Ms.No.149, School Education (TRB) Department dated 20.07.2018
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the fifth respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. This Court had already dealt with a similar issue in W.P.No.161 of 2024 and this Court, by an order dated 08.01.2024, dismissed the writ petition.
4. Therefore, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.161 of 2024, dated 08.01.2024, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
