By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner of the property by means of possessory right in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.244, admeasuring to an extent of Acre 1.28 cents situate at 98, Pozhichalur Village, Pammal Firka, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and he has also obtained Electricity Service Connection. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 19.07.2014 to the second respondent praying for classification of the land from "Meikkal Pormaboke" to "Natham Poramboke"and grant him house site patta and also marked the copy of the same to the first respondent, who in turn vide memo dated 26.09.2014 directed the second respondent to consider and inform the decision taken to the petitioner. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that inspite of such a direction given by the first respondent, the second respondent did not take any action and hence, came forward https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.
4. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the representation dated 19.07.2014, in accordance with law, after putting notice on concerned persons and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
